The Story Behind This Product
This set includes 3 heart shaped wooden bowls come in different sizes and stack. They are small and meant for serving nuts or dips. These olive wood heart plates tell a story. They are safe to wash and rinse, and treat them with oil from time to time using a dry cloth. The olive wood bowls were hand carved by artisans in Bethlehem Palestine's life blood is the olive tree. For centuries, her people have depended on the annual harvest and prunings. Prunings extracted from olive trees in the Bethlehem and Jerusalem area are aged for three years and then shaped into the mineral oil-finished stirring spoons, honey drips, and lemon squeezers seen in these photos.
